"Tigers are 5-2"

Hello Sports Fans

The Indiana Math and Science Academy Tigers are sitting at 5-2 right now after a big win over Fall Creek Academy last Thursday night. It was a very good and competetive game and the Tigers showed a lot of heart in pulling out this victory.

The team was lead in scoring by Keith Grant and Jerel Wilhite, with 22 and 21 points respectively. The whole team came together and played good hard defense, while totaling 24 rebounds, 14 assists, and 12 steals.

The final score was 64-60. The team travels to Indianapolis Marshall tonight for a crosstown matchup. The team is playing very well together at this time and they can only get better..."Beware of the Tigers"

3 Games in One Week

Hello Sports Fans,

The IMSA Tigers had a 3 game week last week. They came out of it 2-1. The Tigers beat The Indiana Deaf School 68-45, as I had reported in my last blog, and they beat Providence Cristo Rey 75-68 in a very hard fought game. The Tigers were led in the  Providence Cristo Rey By Keith Grant, who had 23 points 12 rebounds and 4 assist. Also contributing was Jerel Wilhite with 13 points, Raymond Goodman with 10 points and Andre Collins II added 9 points to this victory. The only loss was to 2A Herron High School. The game was pretty close all the way through, but Herron pulled out the win 46-39. Jerel Wilhite led the Tigers that night with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Demetrius Roberts, Raymond Goodman, and Yogi Cannon all added 7 points in this game.

The Tigers are 4-2 going in to today's game with crosstown rival Fall Creek Academy. It is Homecoming for the Tigers new coach, who coached at Fall Creek last year. The Tigers were 1-1 against Fall Creek last year, but are going for the both games this year, as the 2 teams meet again on the 8th of Feb. The 2 teams are also in the same Holiday tournament and in the same Sectionals.

If you want to see some exciting Indiana HS Basketball, meet us at Fall Creek Academy tonight 12/6. The JV starts at 6pm and Varsity at 7:30. The School sits right off of Fall Creek and Capitol Ave.

Blessings and peace,

IMSA is 3-1

Hello Sports Fans

The IMSA Tigers are 3-1 now after a big win Tues night against the Indiana Deaf School and a heartbreaking loss to Tindley Saturday night.

In the loss to Tindley, the tigers were down more than 20 points during this game and fought their way back to make it a more respectable loss of only 9 points. The guys played hard after one of the top scorers of the team was sidelined by a very controversial call, but we may get a chance to see them again in the Sectionals.

Demetrius Roberts had a great game leading the team with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Yogi Cannon and Keith Grant, were also in double figures with 13 points each. The final score was 68-59

The score of the game Tuesday night was 68-45.

The Tigers have 2 more games this week. They play at Providence Cristo Rey Thursday night and have a home game at Municipal Gardens Friday night against Indianapolis Herron. JV starts at 6:00 and Varsity starts at 7:30.

Here are a few highlights from the first 3 games:

IMSA Starts out 2-0

Hello Sports Fans

The IMSA Tigers have started off the basketball season with 2 impressive wins. They beat Christel House 75-53 on Monday and then knocked off Indianapolis International 60-33. All the players contributed very well, to help the team win.

IMSA travels to Indianapolis Tindley tonight for a 7:30 clash, that should be a very good game. This will be the 2 teams first meeting, but they are grouped up in the same Sectionals.

I am working on highlights from the first 2 games, so keep an eye out for that.

Pike went to Avon and beat them 55-24, Fishers beat McCutcheon at home 38-13 and Lawrence Central stayed unbeaten by beating North Central 21-7.

The match-ups for next Friday are as follows: Pike @ Lawrence Central and Fishers travels to Fort Wayne to take on Fort Wayne Snider. The winners from these games play in the Semi State the next week.

Basketball season is a go now. IMSA has their first game the 19th of this month. I will be posting all year about IMSA, because my son Andre'II is a Senior on this year's squad.

Week 2 of Sectionals in Indiana High School Football

Hello Sports Fans

With this being Semi Finals week of the Sectionals for Indiana High School Football, 4 of my 6 teams I cover are still playing. Marion and Ben Davis lost last week.

Games tonight feature a rematch between Hamilton SouthEastern and Fishers at HSE. The 2 schools are just 3 miles apart. HSE is 5-0 at home against Fishers. Fishers has a top notch defensive linemen named Ryan Coleman, who is 6'1" and 231. HSE has a running back that is D1  material named Ryan Ripp, who stands 6ft tall and weighs in at 204. This should be a great game

Pike travels to Zionsville, after avenging and an earlier lose to Ben Davis last week to advance to tonight's game.

Then we have undefeated Lawrence Central playing always dangerous Warren Central, who is coming in at 5-5, after a 3 overtime win at Carmel last week 31-24.

Winners move on to Sectional Finals next week.

With the Basketball season about to start I will be profiling the players of Indiana Math and Science Academy Tigers. This is the school my son Andre II plays for. I hope to have a little video clip of some of this years returning players. Be on the lookout for that.

Blessings and Peace,

Andre'

Indiana High School Football Sectional's

Hello Sports Fans

I am just getting around to writing my weekly blog, because I was so frustrated at the Marion game I went to last week, I had to cool off a bit before I wrote something I might regret. Bare with me as I attempt to say the right thing ;)

First of all I did go to the game in Muncie Central, to watch Marion play. I got there and I missed Will's only run. He was limping on the sideline the rest of the evening. The Giants was holding their own, by moving the ball up and down the field pretty well, but it is hard to stop a team that is moving the ball just as well and starting most of their drives on the 50 yardline. Every single time Marion scored, the coach decided that an onside kick was the thing to do. Why?

Why do an onside kick after every score? It would be different if you were getting the ball, but not once did the Giants recover any of the onside kicks, but the coach continued to do them. Why? Did you not want to win? Why put a defense in that type of situation throughout the whole game? Muncie scored 51 points, with the same guy running the ball continuously and getting half the field to do it.

After last weeks game which the Giants lost 51-40, and some of the other games, with questionable coaching calls that would make you wonder, I hope the coach proves tonight, to the players and administration that he wants to win and see this program succeed.

Marion finished the season at 4-5 and travel to New Haven 7-2 for the beginning of Sectional play.

Pike went to Franklin Central last week and beat them 21-6 to finish the season at 6-3. Pike has a rematch in their first game of the Sectionals tonight against Ben Davis.

BD finished their regular season at 8-1, by beating Carmel on the road 13-7. BD did beat Pike earlier in the season.

Fishers lost to Brownsburg last week 31-0 to finish their regular season at 6-3. They travel to Anderson tonight for their first Sectional game.

The surprise team to most I am sure, Lawrence Central, finished the regular season unbeaten, by averaging 42points a game and only giving up 8. Last week they beat Bloomington North 31-7 and play a Southport team tonight that they beat earlier in the season 47-6, in their first game of Sectional play.

Warren Central finished the regular season at 4-5. I don't think since I have been living here in Indianapolis, have I seen Warren with a losing season. They lost last week to Center Grove 8-5, looks like a baseball score. I would think it was a defensive battle though with a score like that. Warren gets a chance to redeem themselves tonight as they play Carmel on the road in their first Sectional game.

Basketball season is just around the corner...

Beware of the Tigers!!!

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

Week 8 of Indiana High School Football

Hello Sports Fans

In the 8th week of Indiana High School Football, Lawrence Central remains undefeated and the Marion Giants coaching staff could not get it done again.

Marion lost to Kokomo 40-22. Personally I just don't think the coaching staff at MHS really understand the game enough to utilize their strength. I may be a bit bias, but I just can only wonder what the outcome of the game would have been if Will would have carried the ball more than 7 times. Even though Riley had a great game, why do you continue to keep the ball out of one of the fastest young men in the state of Indiana, hands.
Marion now 4-4 travel to Muncie Central 2-6 next Friday. I plan to be there.

Lawrence Central remains undefeated at 8-0, by defeating Franklin Central 36-22. LC travels to 2-6 Bloomington North for their final regular season game.

Pike lost to Perry Meridian 18-14. Pike 5-3 is at Franklin Central 4-4. to end their regular season play.

Fishers 6-2  who plays their final regular season game at home against Brownsburg 8-0, beat Lafayette Jeff 28-7.

Warren Central beat Terre Haute South 35-0. WC 4-4 goes to Center Grove 7-1 for their final regular season game.

Ben Davis went to Lawrence North and embarrassed them on their own field 75-0. This has not been a very good year for Lawrence North being outscored 475-60 and no wins.

Sectional pairings have been set and will begin the week after the final season game.

Blessings and peace,

Scores and Highlights for week 7

 Hello Sports Fans

Better late than never. I guess in some cases that may be okay, so I am going to use it this time for my post being a little late ;)

I went to the Marion vs Anderson game, which Marion did win 41-28. Marion's offense played very well and the defense held their own as well. Marion tried some new plays to get Will Collins outside, but I don't think they had to change their offense to get him outside, all they had to do was run their regular formations and plays, but use Will as a running back not fullback. Here are a few of his runs from Friday nights game:

Scores from the other games:
Warren Central got beat by Carmel at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sat. 10-7 in overtime.

Ben Davis lost to Center Grove at home 17-14.

Lawrence Central is still undefeated, beating Southport at home 47-6.

Pike blasted Bloomington South at homecoming 56-0.

And Fishers lost to Zionsville at home 35-17.

Thanks to everyone that has visited my blog. The best is yet to come...

Blessings and peace,

Will Collins & Week 7 Indiana High School Football

Hello Sports Fans

As we begin another week of High School Football here in Indiana, I would like to share with you all the performance Will Collins put on against Logansport a couple of weeks ago. I left the broadcasting in so everyone could get the feel of the game and all that was going on during the game.

I actually spoke with the company that made the video and they told me that Will was so fast that they had a hard time keeping up with him as you will see in the video.

Personally all I could do was shake my head, because what he done in this game was simply amazing. Enjoy!!!

Marion plays Anderson tonight at home. I am getting ready to head that way.

In other games:

Warren Central plays Carmel at Lucas Oil Stadium next Sat

Ben Davis host Center Grove.

Lawrence Central is at home against Southport.

Pike takes on Bloomington South at home.

Fishers plays Zionsville at home.

Blessings and peace,

Week 6 of Indiana High School Football

Hello Sports Fans

For the 2nd time in 3 weeks Indiana has played Friday night football games on Saturday due to bad weather.

First I want to start with my Marion Giants. They lost their own Homecoming game to Conference rival Huntington 34-31. I did not get a chance to go to the game, but I was able to listen to the game on my laptop. Marion coaching staff in my opinion sat out to prove a point that I think backfired and might have even set the program back, because I don't even think the players agreed with what was going on. That is just my opinion.
Marion's top 4 running backs carried the ball less than 10 times. This is just a week after putting up big yards in a win over Logansport. Will Collins carried the ball about 5, maybe 6 times for maybe 10 yards. The coach said that Huntington shut Will down, because they wouldn't let him go up the middle. Will one the NCC and the Sectional in the 100 yard dash, you don't know of any other way to run him, but up the middle? Will did score on a screen play...to the outside. He is a sprinter, so why not find ways to use his speed?
The back up running back did have a good game he had almost 200 yards and 2 touchdowns, but what I believe the coach was trying to prove that even though Will had 420 yards and 5 touchdowns, that they don't need him or for that matter, any of their top backs to win, again just my opinion.

In other games Ryan Coleman and the Fisher Tigers put up another win beating McCutcheon on the road 34-6. It was reported that Ryan had 2 sacks and several tackles. Fishers is 5-1 and play Zionsville at home next Friday.

Pike traveled to Columbus North and won 42-24. They take on Bloomington South at home next week. Pike's record is 4-2.

Lawrence Central at 6-2 has to be one of the surprise teams of this season. They went to Bloomington South and gave them a whipping on their field 42-7. LC is at home next week against Southport.

Ben Davis beat Terre Haute South on the road 30-13 and at 6-0 the Giants host Center Grove next Friday night.

Warren Central now 3-3 lost to Terre Haute North in a road lose,14-10. Warren plays Carmel at Lucas Oil Stadium next Sat.

Marion has a home game against Anderson, which will be their final regular season home game and Senior Night. I may be in the house, depending on the weather (:

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

Will Collins Breaks Record

Hello Sports Fans

Another exciting week of High School Football has come and gone. All of my big 3, (Marion, Fishers, and Pike), won this week, along with Lawrence Central, Ben Davis, and Warren Central.

I really don't know any of the stats, besides the scores of the other games, which I will post here shortly, but I did get a call from my brother and also read both newspapers on the performance of Sophomore Sensation Will Collins.

Will put on a performance last night that a lot of us old running backs only dream of. Will and the Marion Giants beat Logansport in a very high scoring game by both teams. The score was 56-49. Combined these two teams put up over 1,100 yards, but Will performance was one for the record books as he ran for a record breaking 420 yards on just 13 carries. He also ran for 5 touchdowns, including an 80 yard touchdown, that ended up being the game winning score. With all that being said, I know that Will is more satisfied with the team win, than the record. I feel the best is still yet to come for Mr Collins and with God, he can and will do great thing.

Now for the other scores, Fishers went to Harrison in West Lafayette and beat them handily 66-0. I have yet to get a report on Ryan Coleman. Pike beat Bloomington North 49-7. LC, won 42-0 against Columbus North. Ben Davis beat up on Terra Haute North 30-7 and Warren Central beat North Central 28-14.

Records:
Lawrence Central  5-0
Ben Davis              5-0
Fishers                   4-1
Marion                   3-2
Pike                       3-2
Warren Central      3-2

Blessings and peace,

Rest of Last Weeks High School Games

Hello Sports Fans

As I had mentioned in my last blog a few days back, most of the High School Football games in Indiana were postponed until Saturday.
Pike and Lawrence Central started early Saturday morning at Pike, with Lawrence Central continuing its winning ways by beating Pike 34-23. Lawrence Central remains unbeaten so far this year and their next game is at home against Columbus North. Pike 2-2 host Bloomington North on Friday.
The Marion Giants hosted Richmond Saturday evening. It was not a pleasant sight as the Giants coaching staff continues to run their backfield backwards. They lost to Richmond 28-12. Marion travels to Logansport, which is a game I am thinking of attending, but my son wants to go see the Fever play WNBA Champs Minnesota Lynx.
In other games last week Ben Davis beat Warren Central 6-3, that is a football score :) and they will be at home against Terre Haute North, while Warren matches up against North Central @ NC.
It should be another exciting week of High School Football and I will be sure to get you all the information and possible video footage I can.

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

Postponements

Hello Sports Fans

The weather in around the State of Indiana cause a lot of postponements, with a lot of them being made up today. I know the Pike and Lawrence Central game was to be played this morning and Marion and Richmond play tonight at 7:00 in Marion. I may make it to that game :)

There were two games played last night in Lucas Oil Stadium. HSE, with their very impressive 6ft 204lb RB Ryan Ripp, who I am sure is getting some major D1 college looks, beat Zionsville 50-35 and then Ryan Coleman, who I think got cheated out of the MVP for the game, and the Fisher Tigers beat undefeated Avon in a conference match-up 35-9.

I hope to have highlights up tonight when I get back from Marion or sometime tomorrow.

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

Week 4 High School Football

Hello Sports Fans

This week I will be traveling downtown of Indianapolis to watch my cousin Ryan Coleman of Fishers take on a friend of mines son Anthony Greene Avon as they clash at the Home of the Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium. Both Avon at 3-0 and Fishers 2-1 are in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference, so this should be a good game to see. I hope to have some good highlights.

I got a Chance to see my Nephew Will Collins play last week and let me tell you, I was not disappointed at what I saw, as I seen him dash away for a 95 yard TD from scrimmage. Tonight they play a conference match-up against Richmond. Marion is 2-1 and Richmond is 1-2.

Pike 2-1 plays a home game against conference foe Lawrence Central which is 3-0 and averaging 50pts a game. Should be a very interesting match-up. I am sorry to the Pike fans as all week I was under the assumption that they lost, but they didn't beating Southport 55-12. I got the wrong report, but I guess no Pike fans read my blog, because no one said anything. Again I apologize.

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

IMSA Soccer

Hello Sports Fans

The IMSA Tigers traveled to Anderson yesterday to take on Anderson Prep in their second ever soccer game. The guys looked a lot better this week, holding Anderson Prep to just one goal. That we be good in most cases, but IMSA have yet to score their first goal. They did have a few good shots this week. I will sort through the video and post them...I promise ;)

IMSA is now 0-2 in their first season in the IHSAA in Soccer. I can tell you they have some good players, and I believe it will just be a matter of time before they put together a win.

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

Will Collins

Hello Sports Fans

I traveled to Marion to watch the Marion Giants and my nephew Will Collins play tonight. I have a few runs by Will in this upcoming highlight footage, including a 95 run from scrimmage.
In my opinion Will should most of the times be the second back through, because he is too fast and the holes just don't open up quick enough for his speed. Marion has a bigger back that runs the ball really well, but I think he should be blocking more or at least do most of that inside running, to help open up holes and utilize the speed of Collins. I as his uncle is not the only one that notice that, numerous people mentioned it to me today, after the game.
Here see for yourself what I mean:

The other backs are good runners as well, but to utilize the speed of Collins, could only help Marion be more successful. I am just saying if the holes are not going to be opened up faster, it is a wasted play to run Collins up the middle, especially being the first man through. The hole is just not there yet.
The good thing is Will is only a Sophomore, so hopefully someone of importance will figure this out. Marion did win the game 36-15, The starting backfield, besides the QB, didn't play that much of the 4th quarter.

In other games Friday night Fishers bounced back with a win over Westfield 40-30. I will have to wait on my report from Team Coleman, to find out how well Ryan played tonight.
Pike lost to Southport 31-26, hopefully I can get a little feedback on that game from Mr Wilkerson.
Lawrence Central kept up their winning ways at a perfect 3-0, beat perry Meridian 42-6.
Warren Central beat Lawrence North 66-7. I hope I get a chance to see Warren play this year. They have a young man on their team that played basketball with us one summer. Big Dwayne Curtis Brown, he is a good young man, who has a very bright future ahead of him.

All comments are welcomed and encouraged!!!

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

Week 3 High School Football

Hello Sports Fans

If you have been following my Blog, you know there are 3 teams in particular that I have been following so far this year. Last week, and I welcome this, I had someone ask that I mention their team as well, so from here on out I will add Lawrence Central to my blog.

I do know that Lawrence Central has had 2 very impressive wins the last 2 weeks, beating Lawrence North 70-0 and then turn around and beat North Central 38-3. Lawrence Central plays Perry Meridian at home this week and then they travel to Pike in week 4.

Pike coming off of a 24-0 lose to Ben Davis looks to bounce back as they travel to Southport this week.

Fishers also looking to bounce back from a disappointing lose to hometown rival HSE  28-21 last week Will battle against Westfield at home.

I will be traveling to Marion to watch my hometown Giants take on the New Castle Trojans in a North Central Conference matchup. I do plan to have some video highlights, so I am hoping my Giants and my Nephew play good and hard, so you all can see what that Giants football is all about.

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

Soccer!!!

Hello Sports Fans

Okay it's a little late, but here it is. I mentioned earlier that my son Andre II, would be playing Soccer this year. After just one week of practice and for most of them an introduction to Soccer, Indiana Math and Science Academy played their first ever IHSAA Soccer game. They played Herron High School. I am certain Herron has practiced since summer and that most if not all of their players have played before. Needless to say they handed the Tigers their first lose of the season 6-0.

The Tigers played a lot better in the second half, but they still have a ways to go to understand the game. They were a little tired and very sore after the game, but I believe they all enjoyed it and that they look forward to getting better. They had at least 5 good shots at the goal. There is a silver lining to to the story, two of their more talented players did not get a chance to play, because of physicals, so beware of the Tigers!!!

I did have some video, but have not did any editing yet. I may get some up before their next game.

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

#57 Ryan Coleman

Hello Sports Fans

I have to admit I was a bit biased this week with my weekly highlights. I pretty much just concentrated on #57 during this game and my editing session.

In my opinion Ryan is one of the top defensive players at his position in the State. I challenge anyone to post here any player you feel is better or compares to my pick for All-State honors #57 Ryan Coleman.

Check him out:

The crowd at this game was crazy. It looked like a college game. This area used to have only one High School and was split into two. The parking lot was full by 6. I happened to pull up when someone was pulling out...Thank God!!!

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

Lost Lost Lost!!!

Hello Sports Fans

The 3 teams I am following so far this year all lost this week. Bummer!!! All 3 had impressive wins last week, but could not pull out the win this week.

I traveled up north to the HSE vs Fishers game. It was incredibly packed. I don't think I have ever seen a high school football stadium that full at 6:00...insane. The score was 28 - 21, but with about 3 mins left in the game the score was 21 - 7, so I started to leave, as I got to the HSE student body section. all the kids started running out of their seats to run on to the field. They blocked the exit, so I was stuck in one spot for the last 3 mins, but it seemed like an hour. I was there watching my cousin Ryan Coleman play for Fishers. I will have some highlights posted tomorrow.

My Marion Giants also lost this week, loosing to Mount Vernon (Fortville) 42 - 22. My brother reported that my nephew didn't carry the ball much this week, which is hard to believe, seeing that he scored 4 touchdowns last week. Will is a sprinter on the track team, but his coach has him playing fullback instead of tailback. I might not know as much as that coach, but I would want my fastest player on the team getting blocks from the bigger slower backs, I'm just saying. I will be traveling to Marion next week to get some video footage of Will and the rest of the Marion Giants as they take on NCC rival New Castle.

Last but not least my Pike Red Devils could not score against Ben Davis as they fell 24 - 0, to their cross town rival. I wasn't able to attend that game, but I am hoping I can get a friend of mine to post some highlights here periodically. Hear that DWilk :).

Well it's been real sports fans, I will get up those highlights, and then do my best to keep you all in the know in sports.

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

High School Football Wk 2

Hello Sports Fans

Week 2 of the High School Football Season. With all three of my teams pulling off big wins and the players of interest all having good games. This week should be another fun filled and exciting 3 games.
This week I will be attending the Fishers vs HSE football game. This game is a rivalry game with both schools being pretty much in the same area. Actually my cousin attended HSE as a Sophomore, I am sure he is looking forward to this game.
Pike plays Ben Davis this week, my son will be at that game, so hopefully I can get a report from him.
Marion plays Mount Vernon (Fortville). My brother told me that this team beat Marion pretty bad last year, if that is so I am sure The Giants will be looking for some revenge.
My video highlights this week will be from the Fishers vs HSE game, so stay tuned.

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

Big 3 Impressive

Hello Sports Fans,

My Big 3: Pike, Fishers, and The Marion Giants all had very impressive wins Friday night. Fishers shutout Noblesville 38 - 0. # 57 Ryan Coleman had 3 sacks 2 solo's 1 assist. That is just the beginning of what I believe will be an All State caliber season for Mr. Coleman.

The Marion Giants led by a very talented Sophomore named Will Collins, who by the way had 4 touchdowns and over 200 yards, beat Madison Grant 40 - 18.

Pike vs North Central was the game I actually attended Friday night. I thought it was a pretty good game even though Pike won 23 - 6. Pike has a very talented group of young men on both sides of the ball. I was very impressed WR's Dominique Booth, and Tyrez Boyd. Booth also took snaps at QB, but Pike does have a very talented Junior QB in Brent Lyles. I believe RB Derrick Wilkerson is going to be a major key factor to Pike's success, because he is a quick and intelligent back that can score on you in a blink of an eye. The defense was on point as well. The only score of the game for North Central was, I believe a kick-off return, other than that Pike held them in check.

I do have video from the Pike - NC Game. Soon as I edit it I will post it.

It will be very interesting to see how these teams do in the coming weeks. I will keep you all posted!!!

Feel free to comment on your favorite high school teams and players, add stats, and scores. I welcome it all.

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

High School Football

Hello Sports Fans

It is High School Football time. Tomorrow many Indiana High Schools will kickoff the regular season. I plan on going to the Pike vs North Central game tomorrow and bring back some commentary and highlights.

My thoughts will also be on 2 other games in particular. One has my nephew Will Collins, who plays for the Marion Giants, playing agains Madison Grant.
The second game on my mind will be that of my cousin Ryan Coleman # 57, who plays for the Fishers Tigers as they take on Noblesville.
I hope to have updates on both of their games as well as future action footage in weeks to come.

May the Lord keep each and every player safe this season.

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

High School Football Season

Hello Sports Fans,

I saw some pre season picks of area high school football players to watch out for and that are being recruited by colleges. That's all well and good, and I am not hating, but I want to get everybody some write up. I would like for this blog to do just that. I will do what I can to search out information on our athletes, but I will welcome any input from any and everyone. I am really going to be pumping up all athletes I know personally and ones that I can help in any way.

My Nephew, Will Collins and my cousin Ryan Coleman are 2 of the players I will be mentioning on a regular basis. Pike is a team that I will also keep my eye on as well. I have a very good friend who has a son playing for Pike and there are a few players I know personally.

Here is the link to some of the area players being mentioned: http://www.usatodayhss.com/indianapolis/article/b-high-school-football-preview-b-top-area-recruits--2012208110336

USA Ladies Representing

Hello Sports Fans,

As I wait for the local football season to start. I can't help but notice how the US Women are dominating in their respective sports, like Basketball and Track and Field:

But as you all know that is not all: Soccer, Tennis, Gymnastics and Beach Volleyball were represented very well as was many other sports. The Olympics have been great to watch...The Ladies have done their thing!!!

Next week 8/17 I plan to attend Pike vs NC. Then 8/24 Fishers vs HSE. I will then Lord willing travel to my hometown of Marion Indiana to watch my Great Nephew and the Marion Giants take on New Castle.
Each week I will hopefully have video and give a commentary as well. I will be available in the following weeks to videotape for anyone looking to get game film of your athlete.

Soccer

Hello Sports Fans,

As my son begins his Senior year at Indiana Math and Science Academy, his main focus is Academics and like most competetive athletes he plans to continue playing Basketball his Senior year and beyond. His school is small and a bit under the radar. My goal is to help bring the school and Andre to a blinking spot on the radar.

To my delight Andre is opening up his athletic horizons, by playing Soccer for his school this year. This will look good on his athletic resume as well as getting him and some of his other teamates conditioned for Basketball season.

I as well as his mom will always want the best for him and as long as he keeps God first in his life and realize the Lord is where his strength comes from, the Lord will give him the desires of his heart.

Blessings and peace,

Andre'

Nice Job Gabby!!!

Hello Sports Fans,

I saw Lil Miss Gabby on the Uneven Bars this evening. I thought she did way better than the score they gave her. Of course I don't understand the judging but from what I saw, she looked good to me. She didn't fall off the bars and she seemed to have had a good landing on her dismount. Please comment to help me understand...
